Apparently the rumors were true. The LSU Tigers football program has lost the top high school quarterback recruit in Gunner Kiel. Kiel didn't show up in Baton Rouge for an enrollment meeting Monday or for first day of classes this morning.

The LSU Tigers will have eight home games, including league contests against Alabama and South Carolina in Tiger Stadium.
LSU's first game against the newest member of the SEC Western Division will be Oct. 20 when the Tigers head to College Station to play the Aggies. This will be LSU's first game in College Station since the 1995 season-opener.
